The might banks of the Neuse River are lined with trees standing tall and proud. The deep blue sky hangs above with white clouds full and bright against the May sun. Just a hint of color from a slight rainbow wondering if it should show it’s self. As we start to wonder out and on the water we all wonder what the future will unveil. As the fleet of charter boats set sail for their destinations all can be sure good times are ahead, the wake will follow, and the breeze will rise and fall.

Small boats will line the creeks, children will play in the sand, and the warm rays of the afternoon will be felt on the skin. First holiday of summer, a time to remember and a time to forget. A time for play and a time for rest.
